Spring Softball
Spring Season: Recreational
Recreation League Teams. These teams, in Age Classifications 6U through 18U, shall represent a recreation league. A recreation league is defined as follows:
- An organized league that is associated with a recognized neighborhood or community.
- Participation is open to any interested youth.
- Tryouts or demonstration of skills is not required for participation.
- A draft or draw method is used to ensure equitable distribution of talent amongst all the league teams.
Spring Season: Select
The Select Program was established to provide an additional opportunity for players who wish to improve their softball skills beyond the regular league season but who have not yet reached the JO “A” Classification skill level. This program is for 10U through 14U players who wish to improve their softball skills and thereby benefit themselves as well as their league. The Select Program will be in effect January 1 through March 31 of the current season.
Spring / Summer Season: All-Stars
Corona Girls Softball is proud to offer a highly successful and competitive all-star program. Our All-Star teams are designated ASA Class "B", which is the highest designated level for Recreational Softball Leagues. Our All-Star program competes at sanctioned tournaments throughout the greater Southern California area, and occasionally travels outside of our local area and/or State to compete at the National level.
CGSA fosters a reputation for excellence. We are proud of our players, coaches and managers whom consistently compete at the highest level and represent the community with grace and sportsmanship. Our Recreational program has fueled the success of our All-Star Teams, but it is important to note that the All-Star program is separate from the Recreational Program.
